Ever wonder how you keep an engine warm and a wing/tail ice-free on a small airplane? When you fly an airline, there is a very safe and methodical de-ice/anti-ice process. To keep our outdoor #cirrusaircraft fleet warm and safe for our clients, we employ generators which power an electric engine pre-heating system. To keep the aircraft surfaces ice-free, we then gently spray them with a fluid that dissolves the ice and prevents it from forming again.
