The path to solo continues...

Flying solo the first time is supposed to be a little scary. It’s not a car and you can’t just pull over if you aren’t sure about what’s happening. That’s where a great flight instructor comes in. They are skilled in the art of knowing when a “student” pilot is ready to take the next step — takeoff and land the airplane by themselves. I can promise that while the anticipation may be grueling, the first solo won’t be. Don’t get me wrong, you still have a lot to learn, but by this time you’ll have 100+ landings under your belt and it will simply be an exercise of proving to yourself that you can execute the basics.
